Workplaces report

Reports → Workplaces (/reports/workplaces) is the occupancy list for the hotel-style industry. That industry is number 59. The menu uses a door icon only for that industry. Every other industry is sent to Obligations if someone opens the address, and the menu item is hidden. Ordinary workplaces for any other company are still edited under Company structure.

Each row is a workplace (a room), who is in it, and where it sits in the building.

Columns​

Workplace name, contact (the guest or the person assigned), branch, department, and size in square meters. ID, created by, created date, and Active can be shown. Custom workplace fields appear when you have them.

Filters​

Branch, department, contact, name (contains or equals), created date, and status (active or inactive).

Add a workplace​

Add shows when you may create workplaces. The form is the same workplace card used under Company structure: the name, the branch, the department, the size, and any custom fields. Active workplaces are the ones visits, lessons, and this report offer in pickers.

Permissions​

The report is Has access and print. Creating a row uses the workplaces permission (view, create, edit, delete), which is part of Company structure. You can be allowed to read occupancy and not allowed to add a room.

Tips​

  • The page redirects away: this company is not the hotel-style industry. Manage ordinary workplaces under Company structure instead.
  • A room with no contact is vacant.
  • Inactive rooms stay out of the default list. Filter status to inactive to see them.
